Camp Emek Boys is a project of Emek Hebrew Academy Teichman Family Torah Center and Keshet Boys Day Camp, one of the Valley’s longest existing orthodox Jewish day camps.
We pride ourselves on placing each boy’s safety first and constantly enhancing our program. Our director, Rabbi Moshe Tropper is an experienced educator with over two decades of service in Jewish education and programming. He is also the Vice Principal Of Emek, a vibrant growing day school with a rich history of over 60 years in the San Fernando valley.
Our staff of experienced and trained educators spend months each year preparing a unique, exciting, and innovative summer filled with surprises. We are located on the main campus of Emek, centrally located in Sherman Oaks. This secure, fully enclosed campus, provides campers with a wonderful modern facility for indoor activities, as well as brand new turf playing fields, basketball, volleyball, and soccer courts. In addition we have grounds for all of our exciting outdoor non sport activities.
Our jam packed days of fun, adventure, team building and friendships begin with davening & learning. Our many unique activities include wild and wacky surprise Tuesdays, Wednesday field trips, arts & crafts, Hilarious CEB news of the week on Friday, night activities, and many other unexpected surprises each day.
In addition, we also have 2 on site game rooms. One has full size arcade games, air hockey, the 2nd has many of the new consoles and only rated E games. Game Rooms have managed and adult supervised time for each group of campers to safely enjoy. Our one of a type canteen includes our very own slurpee and soft serve ice cream machines among the other delicious treats like popcorn, chips, cookies, lollipops and a weekly special item.
